Narrative:

On mar/xa/99 while working my shift in, aircraft xyz flight abc arrived with a previous MEL'ed autoplt and mach trim problem. Also the aircraft was MEL'ed removed from CAT ii status. I coordinated with maintenance controller to replace the stabilization augmentation computer, ground checked the system and removed the autoplt to mach trim MEL's. In my signoffs for both system, I noted that the aircraft was still decertified for CAT ii status. I unknowingly did not make a separate entry referring to the CAT ii status of the aircraft. I was unaware of the procedure and would have added the item if I had known. The aircraft flown for 20 days before an unrelated autoplt problem was reported.
