Narrative:

Nose gear annunciator did not illuminate when landing gear was extended normally. Crew cycled the landing gear 3 times in an attempt to check gear status, and get gear to extend normally. Nose gear annunciator would not illuminate. Crew reviewed and executed the abnormal manual gear extension checklist, declared an emergency so as to have crash fire rescue equipment personnel standing by, did a fly-by of the control tower for a visual confirmation of landing gear. Control tower reported nose gear appeared to be extended. The annunciator also showed that all gear lights were on. No other in-transit lights or aural warning horns were observed. Crew elected to land on runway and stop aircraft on runway and shut down engines. After a mechanic inspected nose gear and confirmed it was secure, passenger were deplaned and boarded onto a bus for transport to the terminal.
