Taxiing out (pwring out) of gate, caused jet blast damage to small aircraft parked too close on adjacent gate. Wet ramp condition causing somewhat higher power may have been a factor. Must keep light aircraft (in this case a parked commuter aircraft) away from jet gates.

Title: CAPT OF AN MLG CAUSED JETBLAST TO A COMMUTER ACFT PARKED AT ADJACENT GATE WHEN TAXIING OUT OF GATE ON WET RAMP.

Narrative: TAXIING OUT (PWRING OUT) OF GATE, CAUSED JET BLAST DAMAGE TO SMALL ACFT PARKED TOO CLOSE ON ADJACENT GATE. WET RAMP CONDITION CAUSING SOMEWHAT HIGHER PWR MAY HAVE BEEN A FACTOR. MUST KEEP LIGHT ACFT (IN THIS CASE A PARKED COMMUTER ACFT) AWAY FROM JET GATES.
