Narrative:

I was coming in for a landing with a direct headwind, 360 degrees at 8 KTS. The approach was stabilized with a steady descent. I flared the airplane at the appropriate ht above the runway. The airplane ballooned and landed hard on the mains and then the nose. The plane bounced back up into the air. I then applied full power and terminated the landing. I then proceeded to my home base airport. Later on that evening, I was notified the propeller was bent at the ends. I was completely unaware that any damage had been done to the plane. During the hard landing, the nose did not appear to be excessively low/pitched down.
