Narrative:

During our approach, the last 300 ft AGL, was moderate rain with +/-10 KTS. We touched down approximately on the 1000 ft mark and on centerline. About 900 ft after touchdown, 3 tires blew out in short succession. We stopped approximately 3000 ft down the runway, about 10 ft to the left of the centerline. We advised the tower that we had blown some tires and our position on the runway. We requested that they send a crew and a tug to tow us clear of the runway. On inspection by the ground crew, 2 of the blown tires appeared to have viscous hydroplaning, and one had a possible hub cap that may have been bad, causing the left inboard tire to not spin up.

Title: B727-200 CREW EXPERIENCES 3 BLOWN TIRES LNDG AT HUF.

Narrative: DURING OUR APCH, THE LAST 300 FT AGL, WAS MODERATE RAIN WITH +/-10 KTS. WE TOUCHED DOWN APPROX ON THE 1000 FT MARK AND ON CTRLINE. ABOUT 900 FT AFTER TOUCHDOWN, 3 TIRES BLEW OUT IN SHORT SUCCESSION. WE STOPPED APPROX 3000 FT DOWN THE RWY, ABOUT 10 FT TO THE L OF THE CTRLINE. WE ADVISED THE TWR THAT WE HAD BLOWN SOME TIRES AND OUR POS ON THE RWY. WE REQUESTED THAT THEY SEND A CREW AND A TUG TO TOW US CLR OF THE RWY. ON INSPECTION BY THE GND CREW, 2 OF THE BLOWN TIRES APPEARED TO HAVE VISCOUS HYDROPLANING, AND ONE HAD A POSSIBLE HUB CAP THAT MAY HAVE BEEN BAD, CAUSING THE L INBOARD TIRE TO NOT SPIN UP.
