Narrative:

At approximately XA30 on apr/xa/99, we pushed back at las for the redeye to cle. ATIS had aircraft at las departing and landing runway 25R. Our performance data was for runway 7L. We notified ground control of our desire to depart runway 7L. They informed us of a possible delay due to conflicting landing traffic, but did agree to our request. As we continued I looked to the east and saw an aircraft on final approach for runway 25. It was then that I realized that I had gone past the hold short line. Neither my copilot nor myself remember seeing the line on the ground or the lit taxiway hold short sign. Tower informed me to contact tower supervisor on a discrete radio frequency. Runway 25R/7L is +14000 ft long and with aircraft landing on the east end and my aircraft at the far west end, safety was not compromised. My aircraft was in front of the hold short line, but not on the active.
