Narrative:

We had a passenger carrying shotgun shells. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states that the passenger seemed a bit 'loony' and claimed he was a preacher. There was a 'crazy woman' on the flight giving the flight attendants a difficult time and the preacher offered to pray for her. He was actually interfering with the handling of the other difficult passenger, wanting to pray for her. The relief officer came out to talk to the woman and her husband when the first passenger reached into his pocket for his cross and pulled out some shotgun shells. This is when it was decided to have security meet the aircraft. Among all the other difficulties happening on this flight was the question of how this passenger got through security with these shells. Security met the aircraft and the woman became even more aggressive. Reporter does not know what followed regarding the passenger or if the company has followed up. She was advised of the FAA hotline.
