Narrative:

I failed to follow SID after departure from runway 13L at palm springs regional airport. The SID requires a left turn after takeoff from runway 13L/right. This was the second flight of the day out of palm springs and we used the opposite runway from the first flight. The opposite runway (runway 31L/right) SID requires departures to maintain runway heading. Several things contributed to missing the turn. 1) we briefed the SID during the first flight and failed to review it again for the second flight. 2) the WX was VFR with good visibility and terrain clearance was not considered a problem. 3) fatigue at the end of a long day. The key to preventing this is to review and brief the SID prior to every flight.

Title: C560 CREW FAILS TO FOLLOW SID TRACK DEPARTING PSP.

Narrative: I FAILED TO FOLLOW SID AFTER DEP FROM RWY 13L AT PALM SPRINGS REGIONAL ARPT. THE SID REQUIRES A L TURN AFTER TKOF FROM RWY 13L/R. THIS WAS THE SECOND FLT OF THE DAY OUT OF PALM SPRINGS AND WE USED THE OPPOSITE RWY FROM THE FIRST FLT. THE OPPOSITE RWY (RWY 31L/R) SID REQUIRES DEPS TO MAINTAIN RWY HDG. SEVERAL THINGS CONTRIBUTED TO MISSING THE TURN. 1) WE BRIEFED THE SID DURING THE FIRST FLT AND FAILED TO REVIEW IT AGAIN FOR THE SECOND FLT. 2) THE WX WAS VFR WITH GOOD VISIBILITY AND TERRAIN CLRNC WAS NOT CONSIDERED A PROB. 3) FATIGUE AT THE END OF A LONG DAY. THE KEY TO PREVENTING THIS IS TO REVIEW AND BRIEF THE SID PRIOR TO EVERY FLT.
