Narrative:
I allowed my student to vary his approach on the localizer at clt far enough so the tower asked me to call them. I called and they said we flew an 'unstabilized' approach and he had to vector another aircraft off a parallel ILS and back on.

Title: INSTRUCTOR PLT ALLOWED FLT TO DEVIATE FROM LOC COURSE REQUIRING PARALLEL APCH ACFT TO BE VECTORED FOR SPACING.
Narrative: I ALLOWED MY STUDENT TO VARY HIS APCH ON THE LOC AT CLT FAR ENOUGH SO THE TWR ASKED ME TO CALL THEM. I CALLED AND THEY SAID WE FLEW AN 'UNSTABILIZED' APCH AND HE HAD TO VECTOR ANOTHER ACFT OFF A PARALLEL ILS AND BACK ON.
