Narrative:

Problem: may have inadvertently entered an area of temporary flight restr. I was navigating from west to east across denver metropolitan area. I was beneath class B airspace and was talking to buckley tower with permission to pass through their class D airspace. Immediately southeast of the buckley class D is an uncharted area of temporary restr airspace. The controller at buckley did not mention it and I did not have it drawn in on my chart of denver class B airspace. This NOTAM has been in effect for a long time, over a yr, and should be charted for easier location. The area is defined in the NOTAM cannot be located by any normal cockpit navigation equipment such as GPS or VOR/RNAV. It is defined as 4 corners of a box, with radials and distances from fqf VOR. It would be much easier to locate as a radius around a point and/or with GPS latitude/longitude coordinates. As it is now, the only way to locate the restr area is by drawing a picture on the chart. A reminder from the buckley controller would have been very helpful, too.

Title: PLT OF BE33 HAS DIFFICULTY DETERMINING RESTR AREA AIRSPACE REQUIREMENT UNDER DEN CLASS B AIRSPACE WITH LITTLE INFO FROM CHARTS OR CTLRS AT BUCKLEY AND DENVER.

Narrative: PROB: MAY HAVE INADVERTENTLY ENTERED AN AREA OF TEMPORARY FLT RESTR. I WAS NAVING FROM W TO E ACROSS DENVER METROPOLITAN AREA. I WAS BENEATH CLASS B AIRSPACE AND WAS TALKING TO BUCKLEY TWR WITH PERMISSION TO PASS THROUGH THEIR CLASS D AIRSPACE. IMMEDIATELY SE OF THE BUCKLEY CLASS D IS AN UNCHARTED AREA OF TEMPORARY RESTR AIRSPACE. THE CTLR AT BUCKLEY DID NOT MENTION IT AND I DID NOT HAVE IT DRAWN IN ON MY CHART OF DENVER CLASS B AIRSPACE. THIS NOTAM HAS BEEN IN EFFECT FOR A LONG TIME, OVER A YR, AND SHOULD BE CHARTED FOR EASIER LOCATION. THE AREA IS DEFINED IN THE NOTAM CANNOT BE LOCATED BY ANY NORMAL COCKPIT NAV EQUIP SUCH AS GPS OR VOR/RNAV. A REMINDER FROM THE BUCKLEY CTLR WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL, TOO.
