Narrative:

Aircraft arrived at station for fuselage repair due to ground equipment damage. No specific repairs could be found so aircraft was repaired per supervisor's and engineering's verbal instructions using structural repair manual as guideline. However, later, aircraft returned to service, I discovered final engineering approval didn't contain all structural repair manual deviations as given verbally. Next time I will not deviate from structural repair manual at all unless written copy of authority/authorized is given before any repair begins.
