Narrative:

Aborted takeoff due to no airspeed indication on left side. Returned to gate and found pitot cover still installed on left side. Pitot cover was black, and red flags were not attached making the cover very difficult to see during the preflight, which took place in the dark. Cover was removed, flight continued as normal. No logbook entry was made by maintenance indicating covers installed.

Title: FLC OF A SAAB SF34 ABORTED TKOF DUE TO NO AIRSPD INDICATION CAUSED BY THE AIRSPD PITOT TUBE COVER LEFT ON DURING PREFLT.

Narrative: ABORTED TKOF DUE TO NO AIRSPD INDICATION ON L SIDE. RETURNED TO GATE AND FOUND PITOT COVER STILL INSTALLED ON L SIDE. PITOT COVER WAS BLACK, AND RED FLAGS WERE NOT ATTACHED MAKING THE COVER VERY DIFFICULT TO SEE DURING THE PREFLT, WHICH TOOK PLACE IN THE DARK. COVER WAS REMOVED, FLT CONTINUED AS NORMAL. NO LOGBOOK ENTRY WAS MADE BY MAINT INDICATING COVERS INSTALLED.
