Narrative:

I was cruising at 2600 ft, 100 ft above the top of the class D airspace checking for traffic and monitoring ATC. Sun glare became a problem. While adjusting the sun shield, I allowed the aircraft to descend, for just a moment, 100 ft into the top of the class D airspace. To avoid this, try to anticipate possible distrs, in this case, the sun glare, and exercise the extra vigilance necessary to avoid mistakes. More altitude above the class D or a circumnav would have prevented the incursion. Also requesting permission from ATC to cross through the airspace is a safe way to go.
