Cleared to descend via the pdz 2 arrival into lax. Missed altitude to 10000 ft after pdz VOR. Caught mistake passing 12000 ft. Descended to 11700-11800 ft before able to climb back to 12000 ft. Controller queried our altitude as we climbed back to 12000 ft. Rest of approach normal. Supplemental information from acn 428569: crossing pdz VOR we noticed tejay restr of 12000 ft.
