Narrative:

When I arrived to work the night of feb/xz/99 at about XA30, I found a board mail envelope with a letter indicating that I should as soon as possible without explaining in detail the reason why. In reference aircraft xyz jan/xa/99. I did some research and looked at the maintenance package for the night of jan/xa/99 and found what I think my violation could be. I continued a placard on the left thrust reverser per MEL 78-02, when instead it should have been 78-01. In fact, 78-01 was performed to lock the thrust reverser out but on the release and placard was written as 78-02.
