Narrative:

Intercepting TTT 074 degree radial on DALL5 departure, cleared to FL230. Climbing through 16300 ft, told to level at 17000 ft and turn right 20 degrees. Immediately put 17000 ft in altitude select window and confirmed 17000 ft with captain. ZFW said we overshot the 074 degree radial. Both VOR pointers and navigation displays showed us right on the 074 degree radial. Vertical navigation was in performance mode. Autoplt overshot 17000 ft. At 17200 ft, captain disengaged autoplt and autothrottle. Aircraft climbed to 17250 ft before getting it back down to 17000 ft.

VERT NAV WAS IN PERFORMANCE MODE. AUTOPLT OVERSHOT 17000 FT. AT 17200 FT, CAPT DISENGAGED AUTOPLT AND AUTOTHROTTLE. ACFT CLBED TO 17250 FT BEFORE GETTING IT BACK DOWN TO 17000 FT.
