Narrative:

Takeoff palomar XA00Z, sbound departure, 3500 ft MSL. Class B transition via VFR corridor. Sun came direct 12 O'clock position, problems to make out san airport. Track about 2 mi too far to the west (mzb DME not working). Recognized mistake when visual contact to san airport, corrected course back to VFR corridor, already violated the class B airspace inadvertently (about XA15Z). Landing at brown XA30Z, message from brown ground to call the supervisor in charge of socal approach. He pointed out my mistake and we talked the situation over. I learned from that.
