Narrative:

Departure clearance from ilg departing runway 1 was, after departure turn left to a heading of 330 degrees, climb and maintain 2000 ft. Upon calling ready for departure, we were cleared immediately for takeoff. No other advisories were given for other aircraft in the area. After takeoff and approximately 500 ft altitude, we started our left turn to a heading of 330 degrees, autoplt engaged. I began the climb checklist at approximately 1000 ft AGL. At 1300 ft MSL, the captain screamed an expletive and I looked out of the left (port) side of the aircraft to see that we missed the other aircraft by approximately 75 ft. Xmissions were made to the tower about the near miss. However, the controller seemed oblivious that there was even an aircraft in the vicinity. Upon follow- up, a shift change had taken place at the time we departed and the controller did not inform the oncoming controller of the aircraft that had departed. A brutal lack of communication took place at an airport that is not terribly busy!

Narrative: DEP CLRNC FROM ILG DEPARTING RWY 1 WAS, AFTER DEP TURN L TO A HDG OF 330 DEGS, CLB AND MAINTAIN 2000 FT. UPON CALLING READY FOR DEP, WE WERE CLRED IMMEDIATELY FOR TKOF. NO OTHER ADVISORIES WERE GIVEN FOR OTHER ACFT IN THE AREA. AFTER TKOF AND APPROX 500 FT ALT, WE STARTED OUR L TURN TO A HDG OF 330 DEGS, AUTOPLT ENGAGED.
