Narrative:

I was PNF, copilot was flying. We were busy detouring around thunderstorms and making altitude changes due to turbulence. Got cleared to climb to FL290. At around FL280, I began pointing out some WX on the radar to rest of crew. I was successful in distracting copilot. We climbed through FL290 to FL293 momentarily, then returned. Lesson: focus on leveloff during last 1000 ft after altitude alert sounds. Supplemental information from acn 426732: need to maintain focus on aircraft control during climbs and dscnts to assigned altitudes.
