Narrative:

I was VFR at 1300 ft under the control of philadelphia approach landing at trenton, nj. At 3.5 mi from trenton, inside the trenton class D, my radar service was terminated and I was advised to squawk 1200 and contact trenton tower. Trenton tower had not been advised and did not know I was there. Philadelphia approach had failed to alert trenton tower to my entry into the class D.
