Narrative:

Air carrier departed lhr en route mia on jan/xa/99 approximately XB00Z. Oil pressure dropped to caution range. Noticed oil quantity at 1 quart. Engine was shut down per checklist. Engine restarted prior to landing as safety factor. Landed bda uneventfully at XC22. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the aircraft was a B767-300 and it was the #2 engine that lost oil pressure and quantity. The reporter said that maintenance has not advised any crew members of the cause of the oil loss.

Narrative: ACR DEPARTED LHR ENRTE MIA ON JAN/XA/99 APPROX XB00Z. OIL PRESSURE DROPPED TO CAUTION RANGE. NOTICED OIL QUANTITY AT 1 QUART. ENG WAS SHUT DOWN PER CHKLIST. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE ACFT WAS A B767-300 AND IT WAS THE #2 ENG THAT LOST OIL PRESSURE AND QUANTITY. THE RPTR SAID THAT MAINT HAS NOT ADVISED ANY CREW MEMBERS OF THE CAUSE OF THE OIL LOSS.
