Narrative:

On taxi out from boeing field I was looking for a pop up clearance to get through a thin fog layer over the area. I was told to depart straight out VFR and that they did not give pop up clrncs. I was not given a squawk code and told to give departure my request. Climbing out of 1500 ft I was switched to departure. At that time I deviated my course to the east so not to enter class B airspace. When I finally checked on, departure didn't know who I was and told me I had entered class B airspace without a clearance. I had thought my position was further east than what center was showing. I was level at 2500 ft and then was given a pop up clearance and continued to my destination without further incident.

AT THAT TIME I DEVIATED MY COURSE TO THE E SO NOT TO ENTER CLASS B AIRSPACE. WHEN I FINALLY CHKED ON, DEP DIDN'T KNOW WHO I WAS AND TOLD ME I HAD ENTERED CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT A CLRNC.
