New copilot, new to DA10, high altitude operations, FMS management. 1) while captain was giving PIREP to abq flight watch, first officer was given instructions to climb to FL370 for traffic. Captain returned to ATC frequency to be informed of third call to climb to FL370 for traffic. 2) published altitude and speed of expect 12000 ft, 250 KIAS at kagle intersection (bowie STAR) dallas, love field. Missed by 700 ft, 30 KTS due to FMS mis-management and poor crew coordination.
