Narrative:

After takeoff and climbing, I noticed that we did not reach a very high altitude and that we were cruising at a lower altitude than usual. While still in our jump seats the captain came on the PA and announced that we had a pressurization problem and were returning to jfk. I did not notice any problem in the cabin. After landing, the first officer told me that the problem was with the pressure pack indicator lights in that the left pressure pack light went out then the right pressure pack light went out then back on.
