Narrative:

While on approach at mem, I (aircraft X) had received clearance for a visual approach to runway 36R. I had been asked to keep my speed up as much as practical. When on final, I was instructed to make the first available left taxiway. I was unusually fast on final and my rollout went beyond the first couple of txwys. I was on the runway longer than the tower planned, causing an aircraft in trail (aircraft Y) to execute a go around. Additionally, the tires on my aircraft were in poor condition. As a result, I was reluctant to go heavy on the brakes for fear of a flat spot or blowout. The previous week a pilot had blown a tire from getting on the brakes too hard. All of the pilots received a memo in their message box about flat-spotting tires. I may have been overly cautious and not aggressive enough on this particular event.
