Narrative:

Passenger reported to flight attendant #1 that she saw a bag in the overhead bin with the lettering bomb. #1 flight attendant reported this to captain who alerted the mod and agents. Captain went to the back to look at the bag. The agents boarded and took the bag off along with 2 passenger. Flight attendant #1 requested boarding be stopped, which I relayed to the agents. The police arrived. The mod told the captain that it was his decision, but that we were at departure. They proceeded to search the bag on the jetbridge. I told them that I felt the plane should be searched, but everyone seemed satisfied that it was not a threatening situation. We left and went to dfw. The passenger were detained for questioning.
