Narrative:
The service was over and I was putting the folding shelf away and stowing away everything due to light turbulence. The shelf slipped out of my hand and as I reached for it, I hit my elbow on the 1/2 cart. I went directly to medical to have an x-ray. From dfw to atl the captain called and said there is going to be turbulence. As I was putting things away, I lost my balance and reached for the handhold and hit my left elbow on the 'walrus teeth' (prongs that hold the cart in place). I reported it to the captain and he wrote it on my report.
