Narrative:

I accidentally installed a -61/-62 brake assembly on a - 63 series aircraft. The original brake assembly was removed due to leaking brake pucks. I misidented the new brake at the storage area due to lighting and the lack of manpower, causing a lot of stress and rushing around. I discovered my mistake when the aircraft had taxied away. I immediately informed maintenance control and my supervisor. We were unable to contact the aircraft to request it return to the gate before it lifted off. The brake assembly was replaced with the correct unit upon landing in yzy. No damage or delay was incurred on either situation.
