Narrative:

I was cleared to land runway 36L (runway 36R was closed) (mco). The previous night I went to mco it was runway 36L that was closed and that was my confusion. I fixated on runway 36L being closed and my mind disregarded other information. Compounding the situation was the fact that I tuned the ILS for runway 36R and although it was VMC, I was paying more attention to the ILS information than the outside. Consequently when I finally concentrated exclusively on the 'outside' I was already too low and too close to the runway to change to the other runway. Upon landing I took the first exit and during taxi, the tower told me I had landed on the wrong runway. I admitted my mistake and taxied to the ramp. The tower did not seem to pursue the situation and I was not instructed to call the tower or make any kind of report.

Title: PLT OF AN ATX CARGO CESSNA 208 CARAVAN LANDED ON THE WRONG PARALLEL RWY WHICH WAS CLOSED. THE PLT LANDED ON THAT RWY THE NIGHT BEFORE SINCE THE OTHER PARALLEL RWY WAS CLOSED.

Narrative: I WAS CLRED TO LAND RWY 36L (RWY 36R WAS CLOSED) (MCO). THE PREVIOUS NIGHT I WENT TO MCO IT WAS RWY 36L THAT WAS CLOSED AND THAT WAS MY CONFUSION. I FIXATED ON RWY 36L BEING CLOSED AND MY MIND DISREGARDED OTHER INFO. COMPOUNDING THE SIT WAS THE FACT THAT I TUNED THE ILS FOR RWY 36R AND ALTHOUGH IT WAS VMC, I WAS PAYING MORE ATTN TO THE ILS INFO THAN THE OUTSIDE. CONSEQUENTLY WHEN I FINALLY CONCENTRATED EXCLUSIVELY ON THE 'OUTSIDE' I WAS ALREADY TOO LOW AND TOO CLOSE TO THE RWY TO CHANGE TO THE OTHER RWY. UPON LNDG I TOOK THE FIRST EXIT AND DURING TAXI, THE TWR TOLD ME I HAD LANDED ON THE WRONG RWY. I ADMITTED MY MISTAKE AND TAXIED TO THE RAMP. THE TWR DID NOT SEEM TO PURSUE THE SIT AND I WAS NOT INSTRUCTED TO CALL THE TWR OR MAKE ANY KIND OF RPT.
