During postflt inspection walkaround of aircraft noticed that 1 landing light was dangling by its electrical wires without retainer ring. The crew earlier noticed abnormal lighting after extension prior to landing.

Loss of landing light retaining ring. Extended landing lights at 10000 ft MSL, approximately slidd intersection. On postflt walkaround, found light bulb -- not broken -- hanging from aircraft by electrical wires and no retainer ring. Msy was contacted to check runways and txwys -- nothing found.
