Narrative:

Takeoff aborted on initial power application due to takeoff warning horn. Cleared runway and stopped aircraft. Checked confign and found flaps, slats, speed brake, stabilizer trim all in proper position. Ran up power to 1.4 EPR and horn did not sound. Contacted company dispatch and maintenance center, all agreed another attempt was acceptable. Recycled flaps up, then back to 15 degrees. Next takeoff attempt was normal. Incident was recorded in a logbook, and reported to tower as abort due to 'takeoff warning horn.' brake cooling time was not a factor due to aircraft never accelerated past fast taxi speed.
