Narrative:

After several touch-and-goes (7) the last was routine and a good approach. 3 ft above the ground the student (private pilot getting a tailwheel endorsement) shoved the stick forward. I immediately pulled the stick back, but the aircraft was too low to correct for the improper control input. I think it was the result of inexperience on the student's part, judging the distance over the runway. Contributing factor was my (the CFI) lack of time available to correct.
