Narrative:

After landing runway 28R at pit, tower told us to contact ground control. We misunderstood and thought she said to go directly to ramp control, which is the usual clearance. We were told to go later back to ground control, after taxiing in to the ramp, and he informed us that he thought that we had done it intentionally. I completely admit that we may have made the mistake. We probably are just so used to going straight to ramp control that we let complacency get the better of us.
