Narrative:

While cruising at 14000 ft from bdl to buf, ATC queried us about our route. When checking, we discovered that we were on the wrong airway. Instead of the usual route, dispatch had filed us on a different routing due to an inoperative electronic control unit. We were given a heading for the ggt VOR and continued on course. This error was facilitated due to the following errors: 1) last min aircraft swap, 2) received 3 incorrect releases before the correct one received, 3) aircraft swapped into 15 mins prior to departure time, 4) aircraft received had multiple maintenance discrepancies which had to be deferred prior to departure, and 5) crew rushed for an on-time departure. In addition, we were complacent from flying the same leg the preceding day. In the future, more time will be taken to review all aspects more closely and on-time performance will no longer have priority. Supplemental information from acn 419220: due to an MEL, the aircraft had to be flown lower than normal which caused them to give us a different route than normal. We departed the alb VOR on victor 2 instead of victor 14 and 26 mi out ATC asked us where we were going. We were given a heading to intercept the correct airway and went on our way.

Title: A DH8 FLC FLIES THE WRONG AIRWAY OUT OF ALB AFTER MAKING AN ACFT SWAP AND A HURRIED DEP FROM BDL.

Narrative: WHILE CRUISING AT 14000 FT FROM BDL TO BUF, ATC QUERIED US ABOUT OUR RTE. WHEN CHKING, WE DISCOVERED THAT WE WERE ON THE WRONG AIRWAY. INSTEAD OF THE USUAL RTE, DISPATCH HAD FILED US ON A DIFFERENT ROUTING DUE TO AN INOP ELECTRONIC CTL UNIT. WE WERE GIVEN A HDG FOR THE GGT VOR AND CONTINUED ON COURSE. THIS ERROR WAS FACILITATED DUE TO THE FOLLOWING ERRORS: 1) LAST MIN ACFT SWAP, 2) RECEIVED 3 INCORRECT RELEASES BEFORE THE CORRECT ONE RECEIVED, 3) ACFT SWAPPED INTO 15 MINS PRIOR TO DEP TIME, 4) ACFT RECEIVED HAD MULTIPLE MAINT DISCREPANCIES WHICH HAD TO BE DEFERRED PRIOR TO DEP, AND 5) CREW RUSHED FOR AN ON-TIME DEP. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 419220: DUE TO AN MEL, THE ACFT HAD TO BE FLOWN LOWER THAN NORMAL WHICH CAUSED THEM TO GIVE US A DIFFERENT RTE THAN NORMAL. WE DEPARTED THE ALB VOR ON VICTOR 2 INSTEAD OF VICTOR 14 AND 26 MI OUT ATC ASKED US WHERE WE WERE GOING. WE WERE GIVEN A HDG TO INTERCEPT THE CORRECT AIRWAY AND WENT ON OUR WAY.
