Narrative:
I was taking off on runway 1 when I noticed an aircraft taking off on runway 26. I aborted the takeoff and was able to take the first exit off runway 1, which is before runway 1 intersects runway 26. The other aircraft also aborted its takeoff and was stopped prior to reaching runway 1. He proceeded with his takeoff after he saw that I was taxiing back into position. We both continued without further incident. An unreliable radio in the aircraft I was flying was thought to have been a factor in the incident.

THE OTHER ACFT ALSO ABORTED ITS TKOF AND WAS STOPPED PRIOR TO REACHING RWY 1. HE PROCEEDED WITH HIS TKOF AFTER HE SAW THAT I WAS TAXIING BACK INTO POS. WE BOTH CONTINUED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
