Narrative:
At FL270, center notified us that their computer was down, then said to make a right 360 degree turn. This was read back. 90 degrees through the turn, the controller questioned us. They told us we were following someone else's clearance. Controller gave us a new heading.

Title: FLC OF A B727 RESPONDED TO ANOTHER ACFT'S CLRNC AND TURNED OFF ASSIGNED TRACK. ARTCC RADAR CTLR INTERVENED AND GAVE THEM ANOTHER HDG.
Narrative: AT FL270, CTR NOTIFIED US THAT THEIR COMPUTER WAS DOWN, THEN SAID TO MAKE A R 360 DEG TURN. THIS WAS READ BACK. 90 DEGS THROUGH THE TURN, THE CTLR QUESTIONED US. THEY TOLD US WE WERE FOLLOWING SOMEONE ELSE'S CLRNC. CTLR GAVE US A NEW HDG.
