Narrative:

Teb tower cleared us onto runway 1 and into position and hold. A single engine piper had just landed on the same runway and was told to exit and contact ground control. The tower cleared us for takeoff. While running down the runway, maybe at 110 KTS, I saw an aircraft in front of me. I didn't have time to stop, so I pulled up on the yoke and flew over the piper at about 50 ft. Later that night, I called the tower and talked to a controller who relieved the controller who was working at the time of our takeoff. He said that there was no report and all was well. On oct/xa/98 we took off on runway 1 again. While in position and hold, I saw what might have caused the close call. At the end of runway 1 is where some aircraft are parked overnight, etc, so there may be an illusion or just that the piper might have blended in with the parked aircraft. My only other thought was that the piper pulled back onto the runway.

Title: FO OF A CPR EXECUTIVE JET IS CLRED FOR TKOF AND AT 110 KT AIRSPD DOWN THE RWY OBSERVES A PREVIOUSLY LANDED SINGLE ENG PIPER STILL ON THE RWY AHEAD OF HIM. HE WAS ABLE TO ROTATE AND TAKE OFF OVER THE TOP OF THE PIPER CLRING IT BY 50 FT.

Narrative: TEB TWR CLRED US ONTO RWY 1 AND INTO POS AND HOLD. A SINGLE ENG PIPER HAD JUST LANDED ON THE SAME RWY AND WAS TOLD TO EXIT AND CONTACT GND CTL. THE TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF. WHILE RUNNING DOWN THE RWY, MAYBE AT 110 KTS, I SAW AN ACFT IN FRONT OF ME. I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO STOP, SO I PULLED UP ON THE YOKE AND FLEW OVER THE PIPER AT ABOUT 50 FT. LATER THAT NIGHT, I CALLED THE TWR AND TALKED TO A CTLR WHO RELIEVED THE CTLR WHO WAS WORKING AT THE TIME OF OUR TKOF. HE SAID THAT THERE WAS NO RPT AND ALL WAS WELL. ON OCT/XA/98 WE TOOK OFF ON RWY 1 AGAIN. WHILE IN POS AND HOLD, I SAW WHAT MIGHT HAVE CAUSED THE CLOSE CALL. AT THE END OF RWY 1 IS WHERE SOME ACFT ARE PARKED OVERNIGHT, ETC, SO THERE MAY BE AN ILLUSION OR JUST THAT THE PIPER MIGHT HAVE BLENDED IN WITH THE PARKED ACFT. MY ONLY OTHER THOUGHT WAS THAT THE PIPER PULLED BACK ONTO THE RWY.
