Narrative:

I departed shortly behind C210. Tower instructed a left turn to 100 degrees after departure and clearance altitude was 2500 ft. IFR departure procedure for runway 14 is a runway heading to 2500 ft before turning on course for our eastbound departure. After departing, tower advised of cessna traffic at 1 O'clock position and 1 mi and asked if I had a visual with traffic and told me to start my left turn. Conditions were IMC and I began my turn upon reaching 2500 ft. We never received a TCASII alert, but I assume we penetrated the minimum lateral separation with the C210 that was also at 2500 ft. I feel that the tower controller should not have released us so soon behind the C210.

Title: CAPT OF A CPR CITATION III C650 WAS CLRED FOR TKOF SHORTLY AFTER A C210 ON THE SAME RWY. RPTR DID NOT BELIEVE THAT THERE WAS SUFFICIENT SEPARATION BTWN THE ACFT AS THE TWR PROVIDED A TA OF THE C210 AND THEN TURNED THE RPTR AND ADVISED HIM TO MAINTAIN VISUAL SEPARATION WITH THE C210.

Narrative: I DEPARTED SHORTLY BEHIND C210. TWR INSTRUCTED A L TURN TO 100 DEGS AFTER DEP AND CLRNC ALT WAS 2500 FT. IFR DEP PROC FOR RWY 14 IS A RWY HDG TO 2500 FT BEFORE TURNING ON COURSE FOR OUR EBOUND DEP. AFTER DEPARTING, TWR ADVISED OF CESSNA TFC AT 1 O'CLOCK POS AND 1 MI AND ASKED IF I HAD A VISUAL WITH TFC AND TOLD ME TO START MY L TURN. CONDITIONS WERE IMC AND I BEGAN MY TURN UPON REACHING 2500 FT. WE NEVER RECEIVED A TCASII ALERT, BUT I ASSUME WE PENETRATED THE MINIMUM LATERAL SEPARATION WITH THE C210 THAT WAS ALSO AT 2500 FT.
