Narrative:

I was the PIC of a piper cheyenne ii flying from bishop, ca, to reno, nv. I was approaching rno. Since tower was calling winds at 250 degrees at 15 KTS gusting to 20 KTS, I asked for and was cleared to land on runway 25. Gusty wind conditions were observed on final and on landing. I touched the airplane down gently, put the propellers into reverse, and then began applying brakes. At some point during the landing roll, the left main tire went flat, but did not adversely affect directional control. Until the aircraft was below 40 KTS. The aircraft was stopped on the runway and towed to parking.
