Narrative:
Departed apa runway 17L and departed to the southeast and continued to climb to cruising altitude of 9500 ft MSL. I don't recall being released from the apa tower frequency, but I think they did. About 1/2 way through the outer ring of the denver class B airspace, I broke through the floor and continued on to 9500 ft MSL. I did not contact denver departure as I did not realize I had been in their airspace until after I had left it. My transponder was active on 1200.

Title: BELLANCA 17-30 PLT PENETRATES DEN CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: DEPARTED APA RWY 17L AND DEPARTED TO THE SE AND CONTINUED TO CLB TO CRUISING ALT OF 9500 FT MSL. I DON'T RECALL BEING RELEASED FROM THE APA TWR FREQ, BUT I THINK THEY DID. ABOUT 1/2 WAY THROUGH THE OUTER RING OF THE DENVER CLASS B AIRSPACE, I BROKE THROUGH THE FLOOR AND CONTINUED ON TO 9500 FT MSL. I DID NOT CONTACT DENVER DEP AS I DID NOT REALIZE I HAD BEEN IN THEIR AIRSPACE UNTIL AFTER I HAD LEFT IT. MY XPONDER WAS ACTIVE ON 1200.
