Cyyz requires a slot time or reservation (aro) number to operate between the hours of 3 pm to 8 pm, mon through sat. On oct/thu/98, we landed at cyyz with no slot time (aro) number. The crew thought that the company dispatch office had filed/received a slot time but, in fact, they did not. The crew should have verified before landing.

Narrative: CYYZ REQUIRES A SLOT TIME OR RESERVATION (ARO) NUMBER TO OPERATE BTWN THE HRS OF 3 PM TO 8 PM, MON THROUGH SAT. ON OCT/THU/98, WE LANDED AT CYYZ WITH NO SLOT TIME (ARO) NUMBER. THE CREW THOUGHT THAT THE COMPANY DISPATCH OFFICE HAD FILED/RECEIVED A SLOT TIME BUT, IN FACT, THEY DID NOT. THE CREW SHOULD HAVE VERIFIED BEFORE LNDG.
