Narrative:

Right before turbulence, myself and crew were beginning our pick-up with juice, coffee, milk, etc. We were in the process of switching carts when out of nowhere we were thrown all over. Locked foot pedal on cart but could not move it because we were in mid air with cart. All inserts flew all over, liquids all over. It would be a good idea to have lock-downs in floor near door for in-flight use. My ribs (right) were sore the next day and a little black and blue. Since then it has cleared. It was great how the crew pulled together and helped each other, especially in our aft galley where we really felt it. Would have been nice for a little warning.
