Narrative:

Cleared for takeoff from abe airport from runway 25, told to turn to 270 degrees after takeoff by tower. Handed over to departure control. Went in clouds at 2300 ft. At that time, departure gave me a revised clearance. While copying the clearance I turned back to 250 degrees by mistake. Controller said to turn to 300 degrees, climb to 8000 ft, then given another revised clearance due to an air show in the vicinity. Controller (departure) abe airport was upset that I went to 250 degrees after being assigned 270 degrees by tower. Then assigned radar vectors before being turned over to the next controller. My mistake to accept 2 revised clrncs so soon after takeoff in the clouds. No controller error involved, he did a good job.

Title: AA5 PLT DEVIATES FROM ASSIGNED HDG AND CONFLICTS WITH ACR IN ABE AIRSPACE.

Narrative: CLRED FOR TKOF FROM ABE ARPT FROM RWY 25, TOLD TO TURN TO 270 DEGS AFTER TKOF BY TWR. HANDED OVER TO DEP CTL. WENT IN CLOUDS AT 2300 FT. AT THAT TIME, DEP GAVE ME A REVISED CLRNC. WHILE COPYING THE CLRNC I TURNED BACK TO 250 DEGS BY MISTAKE. CTLR SAID TO TURN TO 300 DEGS, CLB TO 8000 FT, THEN GIVEN ANOTHER REVISED CLRNC DUE TO AN AIR SHOW IN THE VICINITY. CTLR (DEP) ABE ARPT WAS UPSET THAT I WENT TO 250 DEGS AFTER BEING ASSIGNED 270 DEGS BY TWR. THEN ASSIGNED RADAR VECTORS BEFORE BEING TURNED OVER TO THE NEXT CTLR. MY MISTAKE TO ACCEPT 2 REVISED CLRNCS SO SOON AFTER TKOF IN THE CLOUDS. NO CTLR ERROR INVOLVED, HE DID A GOOD JOB.
