Narrative:

Captain informed me we were losing hydraulics, however there are 2 back up system. Have to return to airport -- can't continue overwater. No need for evacuate/evacuation (not to prepare) but should I hear 'easy victor' or see emergency lights come on then proceed with evacuate/evacuation. He (captain) felt there would be no need and there was no panic -- seemed very routine. Discontinued service and prepared for landing. Supplemental information from acn 416551: we landed without incident, were towed to the gate and the passenger deplaned through the jetbridge. The plane was taken OTS, we switched to another plane and went to chicago.
