Narrative:

ATC crossing restr of FL240 at newes intersection. Aircraft programmed, crew distraction with other concern. FMS did not comply. ATC called prior to reaching newes intersection. Then given 13000 ft crossing at raalf intersection, which was complied with. ATC appeared to have no problem -- neither did we. At all times we were communicating.
