Narrative:

A B737-300 aircraft xyz hole in fuselage below angle of attack indicator and pitot static mount. Did temporary repair per engineer's verbal direction through foreman at site. No engineering authority/authorized was assigned or notation in logbook for repair. Only a permit to ferry aircraft. A B737- 400 aircraft yyx leading edge of left wing damaged slat, outboard fixed leading edge fiberglas skin, aluminum nose beam. Removed damaged fiberglas skin and bent and cracked aluminum nose beam and installed temporary repair doubler to nose beam. Lower access panel attaches to 1 leg of nose beam, per foreman's direction, and informed us the aircraft was to ferry back with slats locked up, therefore, covering the damaged area. No engineering authority/authorized was assigned and other mechanics from that station that assisted in the work were to complete the final slat and speed tape installation. Left area before repairs were complete.
