Narrative:

Flight xx departed greensboro, nc, for washington dulles. At our cruise altitude of 17000 ft, the oil light on the center annunciator panel illuminated. As the QRH checklist was completed the engine started to decrease in engine speed. We secured the engine and diverted to raleigh-durham, nc. We did declare an emergency.
