Narrative:

A woman asked for help for her 21 month old. He was having seizures. I asked if he was diabetic or had seizures previously. She said no. I dabbed sugar into his mouth, picked him up and placed him on the floor. I checked to make sure he was still breathing and checked heart rate. All normal. He quit convulsing and I gave him orange juice. The other flight attendant called for a doctor/nurse -- none on board. We notified the captain and he called ahead for paramedics. I monitored the child for the remainder of the flight. We escorted him and mother off the plane first to meet paramedics. I explained to them same and I believe they took the child to the hospital to be checked out. The mother and child had come from hong kong earlier that day. I felt the child was probably dehydrated and had low blood sugar because of the length of flts, tiredness and hadn't drank enough water.
