Narrative:

On departure from tul on runway 18L at approximately 900 ft, a king air that departed off runway 18R turned directly into our flight path. Evasive action was required to avoid the aircraft. The king air was instructed to maintain VMC and had reported that he had us in sight. ATC was advised of the incident and the flight was uneventful from there on. Supplemental information from acn 413301: at 500 ft AGL on climb out, I pointed out king air traffic, which was slightly ahead and above us, on a parallel course off runway 18R. After checking in with departure control and cleaning up on schedule, we heard departure control advise the king air of our position and issued him a turn to 160 degrees. We had been cleared runway heading to 15000 ft. I had expected the king air to delay his turn, but when he banked into us, I got uncomfortable and initiated a leveloff at 1000 ft AGL. About that time we received a TA showing the king air +700 ft. After leveling, the king air passed over us. The TCASII showed +500 ft. Departure control advised us that tower was providing visual separation. I don't agree. If we had continued the climb, I don't know if TCASII would have been able to issue a solution in time for us to respond.

Title: ACR FK10 FLC INITIATES EVASIVE ACTION DUE TO XING BE90 FROM A PARALLEL RWY. PIC HAS CONCERN WITH APPLICATION OF VISUAL SEPARATION BEING PROVIDED BY TWR WHEN LCL CTLR ISSUES A TURN TO THE BE90 WHICH CROSSES THE FLT PATH OF ACR. PIC IS REQUIRED TO LEVEL ON INITIAL CLBOUT TO ENSURE THEY DO NOT COLLIDE WITH BE90.

AFTER CHKING IN WITH DEP CTL AND CLEANING UP ON SCHEDULE, WE HEARD DEP CTL ADVISE THE KING AIR OF OUR POS AND ISSUED HIM A TURN TO 160 DEGS. WE HAD BEEN CLRED RWY HDG TO 15000 FT.
