Narrative:

Landed at private location to pick up passenger for local flight. Upon return to drop off passenger and pick up 2 more passenger for continued flight, encountered/observed unidented person requesting that I shut down. Due to flight planning, I elected not to stop at that time. I later found out that someone reported that a helicopter had crashed and was burning. Later on, I contacted the passenger that I picked up for local flight and was informed that an accident had been reported to state police (PA) and I was to call a PA state trooper (which I did) and reported that no accident had occurred and that someone in the neighborhood thought that a helicopter had crashed, but none had in fact.
